According to the President, the parties discussed political and economic cooperation in the course of the meeting.
«Our today’s meeting is the 10th meeting in Poland starting from 2010. In general, we had 20 meetings and 20 phone conversations. It is a kind of anniversary, a result that is nice to sum up,» the Head of State said.
«We have a lot of joint projects that will benefit both countries and it is very important for our people to feel these benefits,» Viktor Yanukovych said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine and Poland were willing to solve contradictory issues emerged due to the tragic events of the World War II.
«We are looking for the ways of reconciliation jointly. I am convinced that there is no other way,» he noted.
In his turn, the President of Poland stressed that Ukrainian-Polish relations had a strategic importance.
