Belarus, Amur Oblast enter investment cooperation phase

Belarus and Amur region of Russia have entered a phase of investment cooperation, Belarusian Premier Mikhail Myasnikovich told media after his meeting with Amur region Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, Belarus Radio reports.
According to Mikhail Myasnikovich, three main machine-building complexes will be put into operation this year. First of all, it pertains to Gomselmash harvesters which are in high demand in Amur region.
In turn, Oleg Kozhemyako named his visit to Belarus to be fruitful and positive. «The results of the joint work allow making plans for the next five years. If we had better ties in mechanic engineering before, now we are opening up for cooperation in ore mining industry, dairy and beef stock farming technologies, construction of grain drying units, potato growing, etc. Such cooperation adds impetus to the agricultural development in Amur region,» the Governor said.
