Danish PM: Cause of crisis - lack of discipline in EU
27.01.2012 13:17 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The economic crisis was caused by lack of discipline in some European countries, and not the policy of the European Union as a whole. This was stated on Thursday by Prime Minister of Denmark, Helle Thorning-Schmitt, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
«It’s very easy to criticize the EU and its mode of action. However, in times of crisis one should rely on our institutions, instead of criticizing them,» - said Thorning-Schmitt, adding that everything was being done to bring Europe back on track, to achieve necessary discipline, ensure economic growth and jobs.
