Rapeseed. Results of the 2019/20 season

In 2019/20 MY, production of rapeseed in Ukraine amounted to 3.28 million tons (an increase by 17% compared to 2018/19 MY).

Exports amounted to 2.99 million tons in the 2019/20 MY or 91.1% of production.

Compared to 2018/19 MY, exports increased by 20.4%. Almost the entire rapeseed harvest of 2019 was exported from Ukraine until the beginning of 2020.

Despite this, about 0.44 million tons of rapeseed were crushed in Ukraine (increased by 46.6% compared to 2018/19 MY).

Rapeseed oil production in 2019/20 MY amunted 160.5 thusand tons (increased by 27%over the 2018/19 MY).
