Poroshenko hopes Louis Dreyfus Company will boost investment into Ukraine

07.11.2018 21:26 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this week, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has met with a delegation from Louis Dreyfus Company, one of the largest traders and exporters of agricultural products from Ukraine, Ukrinform says referring to the President press service report. As to the report, within the meeting, Poroshenko has said that Louis Dreyfus Company had already been working within Ukraine over 20 years and expressed hope that the Company would boost its investment into the country. «You believe, invest and promote Ukraine within the world,» the President noted. As to the report, Louis-Dreyfus, in turn, has noted that over the last 4 years, there have been positive changes within Ukraine and so the Company feels it within its work. As to her, the Company plans to significantly grow its investment into Ukraine within the coming years. It is to be reminded, Louis Dreyfus Company is one of the largest global food traders, enjoying 10% of the world turnover. The Company operates within a hundred countries. Major areas of activity are trade, agriculture, and finance. Louis Dreyfus Company has been operating within Ukraine since 1998 and is one of the largest traders and exporters of agricultural products from Ukraine. As of 2016, it exported 4.4 million tons grains; the Company owns grains elevators within Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Zaporizhia regions.
