Ukrainian Jan retail trade up 3.1%

Ukrainian this year Jan retail trade is up 3.1% against last year Jan and down 16.4% against last year Dec,
UNIAN says referring to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service report.
As to the report, retail turnover has grown mainly within Sumy, Kirovoghrad, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv and Kyiv regions (up correspondingly 9.7%, 8.6%, 7.7%, 7.5%, and 6.7%); at same time, retail turnover in the city of Kyiv alone has boosted by 7.7%).
However, the Service did not provide information in absolute terms.
At same time, the Service notes that the data does not include information from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone.
