Harvesting 2018: agrarians threshed grains/leguminous crops at 10 million ha

01.01.1970 03:00 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this year Aug 31, Ukrainian agrarians have threshed 34.5 million tons early grains/leguminous crops at about 10 million ha (67% total planned areas), average yield — 34.6 metric centners per ha, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports. Thus, in part., agrarians have got 34.3 million tons early grains/leguminous crops at 9.9 million ha (95%), average yield — 34.8 metric centners per ha; buckwheat — 26,000 tons at 20,000 ha (18%), average yield — 13.2 metric centners per ha; millet — 29,000 tons at 19,000 ha (37%), average yield — 15.1 metric centners per ha. Also, agrarians have threshed 489,000 tons sunseeds at 267,000 ha (4%), average yield — 18.3 metric centners per ha; 75,000 tons sunseeds at 28,000 ha (2%), average yield — 26.9 metric centners per ha; 2.7 million tons rape at 1 million ha (99%), average yield — 26.1 metric centners per ha. Besides, as of now, agrarians continue winter rape sowing (2019 crop). As of this year Aug 31, winter rape have already been sown at 685,000 ha (77%).
