Harvesting 2018: 6 regions agrarians started soybeans harvesting

As of this year Aug 29, Zaporizzhia, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv regions agrarians have already started soybeans harvesting; agrarians have threshed 40,000 tons soybeans at 14,000 ha (1% of total planned areas), Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, soybeans average yield is 27.7 metric centners per ha.
In meanwhile, agrarians continued grains/leguminous crops harvesting; as of this year Aug 29, agrarians have threshed 34.4 million tons grains/leguminous crops at 9.9 million ha (67% total planned areas), average yield - 34.6 metric centners per ha.
Thus, in part., agrarians have got 22,000 tons buckwheat at 16,000 ha (15%), average yield - 13.7 metric centners per ha; millet - 22,000 tons at 15,000 ha (29%), average yield - 14.5 metric centners per ha.
Besides, within this week agrarians continued industrial crops harvesting; agrarians have got 241,000 tons sunseeds at 138,000 ha (2%), average yield - 17.5 metric centners per ha (winter rape - 2.7 million tons at 1 million ha (99%), average yield - 26.1 metric centners per ha).
As to the report, agrarians also continued their winter rape (2019 crop) sowing. As of this year Aug 29, winter rape have already been sown at 656,000 ha (74% of total planned 888,000 ha).
