Harvesting 2018: agrarians threshed 19 million tons early grains/leguminous

24.07.2018 20:06 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this year Jul 23, Ukrainian agrarians have threshed 18.9 million tonnes early grains/leguminous crops at 6 million hectares (62% total planned areas), average yield — 31.7 metric centners per ha, Interfax-Ukraine says referring the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food report. Thus, in part., agrarians have got 14.3 million tons winter wheat at 4.2 million ha (67%), average yield — 33.9 metric centners per ha; spring wheat — 30,000 tons at 13,000 ha (7%), average yield — 22.8 metric centners per ha; winter barley — 2.9 million tons at 813,000 ha (98%), average yield — 35.1 metric centners per ha; spring barley — 1.1 million tons at 563,000 ha (37%), average yield — 19.6 metric centners per ha; peas — 510,000 tons at 306,000 ha (72%), average yield — 16.7 metric centners per ha. Besides, as of this year Jul 23, agrarians have got 60,000 tons rye at 25,000 ha (17%), average yield — 23.5 metric centners per ha, and 13,000 tons oats at 8,000 ha (4.1%), average yield — 16.6 metric centners per ha. Also, agrarians have threshed 2.3 million tons winter rape at 878,000 ha (90%), average yield — 25.7 metric centners per ha, alongside with 10,300 tons spring rape at 6,000 ha (11.3%), average yield — 16.6 metric centners per ha.
