Emirati «DP World» confirms interest in investing into Ukrainian port industry

As of yesterday, within his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO of one of the world largest port operators «DP World», President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, within the meeting, the President outlined the course of reforms in Ukraine aimed to ensure favorable business climate. He also informed his interlocutor on the Government plans to privatize State-owned companies within Ukraine.
As to the report, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem confirmed his company intentions to invest into the Ukrainian port industry and expressed hope for the further successful implementation of the projects of «DP World» within Ukraine.
As to the report, Petro Poroshenko thanked Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem for his consent to join the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine.
It is to be admitted, «DP World» operates 78 terminals within 43 countries.
