Ukrainian/France Jan-Jun trade turnover up over 15%

As of today, while speaking within a meeting with the delegation of the French Senate, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said within this year Jan-Jun, Ukraine/France trade turnover has grown by 15.2% against last year similar, exceeding US$ 1.1 milliard, Ukrinform says referring to Government Portal report.
«The level of economic cooperation is rather high. We can speak about the gradual creation of a favorable investment climate in Ukraine. We are grateful to the French business for their attention to Ukraine,» Groysman admitted.
As to the report, within this year Jan-Jun the total trade turnover between Ukraine and France has grown by 15.2% and reached US$1125.1 million. The main items of Ukrainian exports to France were animal and vegetable fats and oils, oleaginous seeds and fruits, residues and waste from the food industry, clothing and textiles. The main items of French imports to Ukraine were mineral fuels, chemical products, means of land transport (except for railways), pharmaceuticals, nuclear reactors, boilers and vehicles.
Reportedly, France ranks eighth in terms of direct foreign investments attracted into the Ukrainian economy with an index of US$1334.1 million.
