As of Jan, agrarians boosted sugar sale rates by 50.7%, up to 32,547 MT

12.03.2010 09:47 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — In Jan 2010 agricultural companies have raised sugar sale rates to 32,547 MT, up 10,955 MT (+ 50.7%) against Jan 2009, reported State Statistics Committee. As for Jan 2010 sugar sales structure, companies gave 0.8% total sugar to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries and 1.6% - to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment. 8.4% sugar were sold on markets (82.9% - through other trade channels). As to report, in Jan 2009 agrarians sold 21,592 MT sugar. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in 2009 agricultural companies lowered sugar sales to 602,137 MT, down 134,351 MT (- 18.2%) against 2008. As to Agro Perspective, in 2008 agrarians sold 736,488 MT sugar.
