As of Jan-Oct, agrarians strengthened potatoes average sale price to UAH1,301 per MT

04.12.2009 17:28 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As to State Statistics Committee report, within this year Jan-Oct all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) were selling potatoes at average UAH1,301 per MT, up UAH112 per MT (+ 9.4%) against last year similar.

As to Committee, companies sold potatoes to processors at UAH1,168 per MT (UAH1,319 per MT – on markets; UAH1,311 per MT – through other trade channels).

As to report, agrarians gave potatoes to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries at UAH1,283 per MT; potatoes were given to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment at UAH1,401 per MT.

As to Committee, in last year Jan-Oct companies sold potatoes at UAH1,189 per MT.

As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within this year Jan-Sept all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) were selling potatoes at average UAH1,372 per MT.
