Tymoshenko declares about Ukrainian sugar market monopolists conspiracy

16.06.2009 12:24 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — While speaking on regional/local executive authorities chiefs Kyiv May 08/09 selector meeting, Premier Yuliya Tymoshenko declared country sugar market monopolists have plotted conspiracy.

Thus, in part., addressing Volodymyr Khomenko, Chernighiv Regional State Administrations Chief, Tymoshenko said this region sugar prices growth is now highest in Ukraine.

“It’s an alarming sign, so I ask all of you (Regional State Administrations Chiefs) to pay attention to sugar price parameters. I feel that a certain monopolistic conspiracy has been organized resulting in prices significant growth,” stressed Tymoshenko.

Premier urged Chernighiv Regional State Administrations Chief to personally control this region sugar prices stabilization.
