Bulgarian Parliament banned wheat export

05.09.2003 «Agro Perspectiva» (Kyiv) — Bulgarian Parliament has put in a 200 days wheat export ban, due to domestic market shortage caused by output decline. At the same time Government sells 100.000t State Reserve wheat at prices lower as at market. In total, Government is ready to sell its own reserves’ 450-500.000t. Government is set to import 100.000t wheat 2003/04 MS.
