Organic raspberry/strawberry freezing company to be launched within Dnipropetrovsk region

05.03.2019 21:56 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Orel-Eko, a Dnipropetrovsk region based company focused on the berries organic cultivation, is going to launch a complex of the berries’ shock freezing, EastFruit says referring to Serghiy Korobkin, Orel-Eko Chief, report. As to him, the complex will assure in total 5 tons berries’ per day freezing. Korobkin admits this year the complex is possible to accept for freezing the berries produced not only by Orel-Eko, but also by ther companies; however, in future, the complex will be processing only the Orel-Eko grown berries. It is to be admitted, as of now, Orel-Eko carries out the organic cultivation of the raspberry at 25 ha and the orchard strawberry at 2 ha. As to experts, Orel-Eko is certain not to have any problems with berries for freezing, since Dnipropetrovsk region is rich enough with berries and vegetables.
