Ukrainian this year walnut export up 77%

Ukrainian this year Jan-Oct walnut export has grown to US$77.3 million, up 77% against last year similar, Ukrinform says referring to Åast-fruit report.
«Ukraine has sharply boosted walnut export within this year first 10 months. This year Jan-Oct walnut export income has grown to US$77.3 million, up 77% against last year similar. Export shipments to Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey have shown highest growth,» the report reads.
As to the report, within this year Jan-Oct, Turkey has become biggest importer of the Ukrainian walnuts; Turkey has bought 2,600 tons (for US$9.3 million), up 5.5 times against last year similar.
