SETAM to sell right to lease State-owned land

As of this week, OpenMarket (State-owned Company SETAM of the Ukrainian Justice Ministry) and the Ukrainian State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre have concluded an agreement on assuring of the functioning of the domestic electronic land auctions’ system, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food report.
«The State-owned Company SETAM of the Ukrainian Justice Ministry ) Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Ukrainian State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre have concluded an Agreement on ensuring of the functioning of the system of electronic land auctions as part of a pilot project on the implementation of the domestic electronic land auctions,» the report reads.
As to the report, the first land lots have been already put within the OpenMarket system.
"For sale will be offered the rights to take on lease of the 10 land plots with a total area of 210 ha; within the Kirovograd, Odesa, Sumy, Lviv and Chernighiv regions (each) there are 2 of the land plots; Due to the procedure defined by the Ukrainian Land Code, auctions may take place not earlier than 30 days after the exhibition of the land lots, " the report reads.
