As of this week, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a Law «On Amendments to the Ukrainian Tax Code and certain Ukrainian Laws to stimulate the establishment and work of the family farms», Interfax-Ukraine reports.
As to the report, the new Law allows the citizens living and working on their land to receive official status of farmers - what will allow them to legally sell their agricultural products, receive the social protection and the right to a pension.
As to the report, the Law implementation will create conditions for the emergence of the domestic family farms and withdraw the agricultural entrepreneurial activity from the shadow market - what will positively affect the growth of income to the local budgets from taxes and the creation of new jobs within the rural areas.
As to the earlier report, as of this year Jul 10, the Verkhovna Rada adopted within the second reading, with technical and legal amendments, the draft Law N 6490-d «On Amendments to the Ukrainian Tax Code and certain Ukrainian Laws to stimulate the establishment and work of the family farms».
