Harvesting 2018: agrarians threshed 20 million tons early grains/leguminous crops

26.07.2018 16:34 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this year Jul 25, Ukrainian agrarians have threshed 20.0 million tonnes early grains/leguminous crops at 6.3 million hectares (65% total planned areas), average yield - 31.9 metric centners per ha, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports. Thus, in part., agrarians have got 15 million tons winter wheat at 4.4 million ha (70%), average yield - 34.2 metric centners per ha; spring wheat - 37,000 tons at 16,000 ha (9%), average yield - 23.0 metric centners per ha; winter barley - 2.9 million tons at 816,000 ha (99%), average yield - 35.1 metric centners per ha; spring barley - 1.3 million tons at 628,000 ha (41%), average yield - 19.9 metric centners per ha; peas - 541,000 tons at 319,000 ha (75%), average yield - 17.0 metric centners per ha. Besides, as of this year Jul 25, agrarians have got 67,000 tons rye at 27,500 ha (19%), average yield - 24.5 metric centners per ha, and 16,000 tons oats at 9,300 ha (5%), average yield - 17.5 metric centners per ha. Also, agrarians have threshed 2.3 million tons winter rape at 902,000 ha (92%), average yield - 25.8 metric centners per ha, alongside with 11,000 tons spring rape at 7,500 ha (14%), average yield - 15.0 metric centners per ha.
