Ukrainian this year Jan-May agricultural products export to EU totaled about US$2.3 milliard

As of this year Jan-May, Ukraine-EU trade turnover boosted to almost US$3.4 milliard (up 7.8% against last year Jan-May), with about US$2.3 milliard being the export of Ukrainian agricultural products and foods, Interfax-Ukraine says referring to Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine on European Integration Olha Trofimtseva report.
As to her, among the agricultural products/foods mostly exported to the EU were grains (US$862 million), vegetable oils (US$465.8 million), residues and waste from the food industries (US$220 million), oilseeds (US$211.5 milliard), poultry and by-products (US$100.5 million), Trofimtseva said.
As to Trofimtseva, along with the traditional export products, Ukraine significantly raised the export of fruit juices (by US$11 million, or twofold boost), confectionery products (by US$ 8.3 million, or 89.4%), chocolate and other products containing cocoa (by US$6.5 million, or 66.2%) and dried leguminous vegetables (by US$6.5 million, twofold boost).
As her, the countries importing the largest lots of Ukrainian agricultural products within this year Jan-May were Netherlands (15.9%), Spain (14.1%), Italy (14%), Poland (14%), and Germany (9.3%).
