Ukraine, Netherlands to deepen agricultural sector priority areas cooperation

As of today, the Ukraine-Netherlands Working Group on Agriculture (WGA) has had its fourth meeting, Ukrinform says referring to the the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food report.
As to the report, on the results of the meeting, Ukraine and the Netherlands have
signed a joint statement on cooperation within the agricultural sector.
«The fourth meeting of the Ukrainian-Dutch Working Group on Agriculture was held today. The Ukrainian side was headed by Olha Trofimtseva, Ukrainian Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister for European Integration, and the Dutch side - by Aldrik Gierveld, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Netherlands. Within the meeting, the sides summarized the results of the implementation of the Joint Action Plan between Ukraine and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the agrarian sector for 20172018, which was signed Apr 24, 2017 within the Hague. Moreover, the representatives of the countries signed a bilateral action plan to deepen cooperation within the priority areas of the agricultural sector,» the report reads.
It is to be admitted, within 2018 Jan-May, the Ukrainian agricultural products’ export to the Netherlands amounted to US$449.9 million.
