As of 2017, Ukrainian agricultural companies acquired almost 3,700 tractors

As of 2017, Ukrainian agricultural companies bought 3,688 tractors (up 34.5% against 2016), with one tractor average purchase price equaling to UAH2 million, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food says referring to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service report.
As to the report, the most purchased tractors were 60100 kW power (1,489 tractors, up 36.1% against 2016) and over 100 kW power (1,782 units, + 18.4% by 2016).
Reportedly, the tractors were purchased mostly by the Odesa region agrarians (326 tractors, up 55% against 2016), Vinnytsya region (289 tractors, up 79.6%), Kharkiv region (246 tractors, up 30.9%), Zaporizhia region (241 tractors, up 34%) and Dnipropetrovsk region (241 tractors, up 33.5%).
Besides, as of 2017, Ukrainian agrarian companies purchased 1,026 grains harvesters, up about 12% against 2016, with one harvester average price equaling to UAH4.44 million.
It is to be admitted, now Ukrainian agrarians can make use of the Government program of State-sponsored 25% compensation of the cost of purchased agricultural machinery and equipment, if domestically-made.
