Within the FY2018 (July 2017-June 2018) third quarter, Kernel, a large Ukrainian agrarian group, has shortened its grain sales to 1.088 million tonnes, down 21.8% against FY2017 Q3, Interfax-Ukraine says referring the Kernel report.
As to the report, at the same time, within FY2018 Q3, Kernel has reduced its bulk sunoil sales by 14%, to 252,740 tonnes (bottled sunoil sales - by 24.4%, to 26.16 million liters).
Reportedly, within FY2018 Q3, Kernel has declined its sunseeds’ processing to 848,860 tonnes sunseeds (down 1.4% against FY2017 Q3).
As to the report, within FY2018 Q3, the throughput volumes at the Kernel export terminals fell by 6.1%, to 1.515 million tonnes.
Reportedly, within FY2018 Q1-Q3, Kernel has reduced its grains sale to 3.074 million tonnes, down 25.1% against FY2017 Q3 (bottled sunoil - to 85.8 million liters, down 6.9%); however, at same time, Kernel gas grown its bulk sunoil sales to 914,680 tonnes (up 14%).
It is to be admitted, Kernel grains sale decline has been motivated by a countrywide harvest decline, delayed harvesting campaign, and low willingness of domestic agrarians to sell their grains as they wait for better prices.
It is to be mentioned, Kernel is the world largest producer and exporter of sunoil, the leading Black Sea region producer/shipper of agricultural products to the world markets.
