Sowing campaign 2018: early spring grains sown at over half total planned areas

As of this year Apr 16, agrarians have sown their early spring grains/leguminous crops at 1.2 million ha (51% of total planned areas to be sown), Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
Reportedly, agrarians have already sown:
spring barley - at 828,000 ha (52% total planned);
oats - at 67,000 ha (32%);
wheat - at 70,000 ha (40%);
peas - at 265,000 ha (63%).
As to the report, now the agrarians continue sowing sugar beets; as of this year Apr 16, sugar beets have been sown at 86,000 ha (28%). Besides, agrarians continue sowing sunflower (211,000 ha; 4%).
As to the report, monitoring of winter grains (sown for 2018 harvest) shows that the seedlings have appeared (as of this year Apr 16) at 99.8% of all sown areas (7.3 million ha), with almost 90% (6.5 million ha) being in good/satisfactory condition, while seedlings’ condition at 10% (715,700 ha) sown areas is weak/rare.
Reportedly, winter rape was sown at 1.0 million ha, seedlings have appeared at 99% all total area, with 89% (892,400 ha) being in good/satisfactory condition, while seedlings’ condition at 10% (103,200 ha) sown areas is weak/rare.
