Groisman: Ukraine/Lithuania 2017 trade turnover exceeds US$1 milliard
12.04.2018 21:34 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of 2017, Ukraine/Lithuania total trade turnover has reached US$1 milliard, Ukrinform says referring to Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman Twitter report.
«We are greeting the Prime Minister of Lithuania within the House of Government. Saulius Skvernelis is on a visit to Ukraine. We are talking about political and economic cooperation. Our mutual trade exceeds US$1 milliard, and our common logistics capabilities can become a point of further growth of our relations,» Groisman writes.
As to him, Vilnius is an active political ally and an important economic partner of Kyiv within the Baltic region.
As to the report, within the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of logistics opportunities, including within the framework of the Viking container train project, which connects the Baltic and Black sea regions.
It is to be admitted, now Prime Minister of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis participates within the 11th Kyiv Security Forum (held within the Ukrainian capital Apr 1213).
