European Commission to allocate EUR33 mln to Ukraine for budgetary support programs

The European Commission is going to allocate EUR32.5 million to Ukraine for budgetary sectoral support programs, Ukrinform says referring to the Economic Development and Trade Ministry report.
«Within 2018, the European Commission has stipulated to alot EUR32.5 million to Ukraine for budgetary sectoral support programs on regional development and public administration,» the report reads.
As to the report, the EU Commision corresponding decision was announced following the results of the revision of the EU project portfolio with the participation of Ukrainian Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Maksym Nefyodov and Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli.
«We are grateful for the EU assistance to Ukraine. But now we should urgently solve several issues. First of all, we should to introduce online registration and monitoring of international assistance projects, ensure regular informing of the Economic Development Ministry by the European Commission about monitoring of the ongoing projects implementation and holding of new EU project selection competitions announced by the European Commission in Brussels,» Nefyodov said.
