Ukraine, Moldova to deepen political dialogue and welcome tighter cooperation

As of last week, while on a working visit to Odesa region, and while speaking within a meeting in Odesa with Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Pavel Filip, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman said
Ukraine and Moldova express readiness to intensify the political dialogue within the context of maintaining the sovereignty of both countries, and welcome tighter cooperation within the economy and the development of cross-border partnership, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, within the talks, Groisman stressed that Kyiv is interested in political stability within Moldova, shares and supports the principles of territorial integrity of the neighboring country.
Besides, the parties tackled the state of implementation of the roadmap approved by the prime ministers at this year beginning, and noted the significant progress within this sphere. Thus, trade turnover between the countries within this year Jan-Jul has grown to US$317 million, up one third against last year similar.
