Groisman: Government calls on Parliament to adopt far-reaching reforms already within Sept

As of today, while speaking within the Cabinet meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said the Government is going to get back to consideration of five drastic reforms within Ukrainian healthcare, education and pension sectors within this year Sept, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, within this context, the Prime Minister has touched upon pricing issues for medications within Ukraine and drew attention to the burning need to eradicate all corruption schemes existing within this sector.
«We will tackle corruption in procurement in an easy way by transparency,» Groisman stressed.
As to the report, Groisman reminded that this year the Government had allocated UAH6 milliard for the purchase of medical products. The procurement procedure is as close as possible to meet the needs of citizens due to the ProZorro system as well as procurement through international medical organizations launched by the Ukrainian Ministry of Healthcare.
Besides, Groisman has also focused the attention of representatives of local authorities to the need to improve the healthcare system on the ground, especially with regard to adding regions to a single register of patients with serious disease.
