19.07.2017 11:36 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of this year Jul 18, the Ukrainian agrarians have harvested 10 million tonnes grains on 3.1 million hectares (32% of the total planned areas), UNIAN says referring to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry report.
As to the report, the grains average yield is 3.26 tonnes per ha.
As to the report, as of this year Jul 18, agrarians have harvested 5.6 million tonnes wheat (1.6 million hectares, 25%); 3.7 million tonnes barley (1.2 million ha, 48%); 3,000 tonnes rye (2,000 ha); 3,000 tonnes oats (1,000 ha). The farmers also harvested 617,000 tonnes of peas (260,000 ha, 66%).
Reportedly, agrarians continue to harvest rapeseed crops, having already got 587,000 tonnes (256,000 ha, 31%).
It is to be admitted, within this year early grain and leguminous crops are to be harvested at total 9.4 million hectares.
Experts say despite unfavorable weather conditions, the harvested crop will fully satisfy Ukrainian grain requirements and provide its sufficient export volume.
