In 2015, EC provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine worth EUR30 million

Within 2015, the European Commission provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine for total EUR30 million, NRCU says referring to Christos Stilianidis, the European Commissioner for humanitarian aid and crisis management, report.
As to him, about 55% of the total amount was transferred to support the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
As to the report, since the beginning of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, the European Commission has allocated about EUR63 million for humanitarian assistance and conduct of restoration works.
It is to be mentioned, earlier the US had said about boost of its humanitarian assistance by nearly US$15 million for people affected by the fighting in the Donbass. Thus, the total amount of aid will rise to US$84 million.
