Valeriy Chaly and Ertugrul Apakan discussed activity of OSCE mission to Ukraine

As of yesterday, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly held a meeting with the Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Ertugrul Apakan, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the parties discussed the activity of the OSCE to Ukraine. In this context, Ertugrul Apakan promised to raise its number up to 500 members in the coming months. This will allow substantially increasing its efficiency in the peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas.
Reportedly, the parties discussed the results of the recent session of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk. They agreed that the fulfillment of the Minsk protocol of September 5 and the Minsk memorandum of September 19 cannot be delayed. Valeriy Chaly emphasizes that immediate withdrawal of heavy armament and pullback to the delimitation line laid down in the memorandum is essential.
As to the report, the parties hope that Minsk negotiations will facilitate the liberation of hostages and the delivery of humanitarian cargo to the Donbas people. Valeriy Chaly informed that 26 trucks with more than 300 tons of Ukrainian humanitarian assistance had been sent to the Donbas. In this context, the assistance of the international organizations, including the OSCE mission, is essential for the delivery and distribution of the given humanitarian cargo among the people living in the occupied territories. Ertugrul Apakan assured of the readiness to help in the given issue.
Reportedly, Ertugrul Apakan noted the high level of cooperation between the OSCE mission and the relevant ministries and institutions of Ukraine.
