Mykola Azarov congratulates athletes of Ukraine on successful performance at the IX World Games

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has congratulated the athletes of Ukraine on successful performance at the IX World Games 2013 in Cali (Colombia), Government Portal.
Ukrainian athletes won 28 medals, including 9 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 9 bronze medals at these competitions. As a result of participation in the World Games IX Ukraine stands 7 place in the overall team standings, by the number of medals on 6 place out of 59 countries which won medals.
«You have honorably represented our country on the international sports arena, once again confirming the will of the Ukrainians to victory, the ability to fight and win. Moreover — you are in no small part set the tone of sport events, it is confirmed by the high sports achievements of Larisa Soloviyeva, who set at the Games three world records. And a successful performance of young athletes have shown the existence of great potential for the future, inspired confidence in new victories,» the Prime Minister noted.
Mykola Azarov wished the athletes and their coaches good health, success, new victories and inexhaustible will to tackle new goals.
