President is on state visit to Turkmenistan

On February 1214, 2013, the President will make a working visit to Turkmenistan. It was stated by Head of Presidential Administration Serhiy Lyovochkin, President Viktor Yanukovych Press Office reports.
In the course of the visit, the Head of State will hold negotiations with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and visit Lebapskiy Velayat in order to participate in the ceremony of opening and initiating the building of infrastructure objects in Turkmenistan with involvement of Ukrainian enterprises.
According to Serhiy Lyovochkin, top-priority attention of negotiations at the highest level will be paid to the issues of Ukrainian-Turkmen cooperation, particularly, in trade-economic, energy, building and scientific-technical spheres.
As the result of the visit, the parties are planning to sign the Joint Declaration on enhancing friendly relations of partnership between Ukraine and Turkmenistan that would fortify principal bilateral agreements on activation of cooperation in various spheres.
The Head of Presidential Administration also informed that the parties were planning to sign several bilateral agreements aimed at broadening of cooperation between the two countries, particularly, in oil and gas, financial, military and humanitarian spheres, as well as at the regional level.
