As of this week, Ukrainian sunseeds export price was just declarative due to low export sales; sunseeds export price equaled to US$425 per MT (FOB Black Sea ports).
Sunoil, sun.pell
Within this week Ukrainian sunoil export market followed global market tendencies.
As of this week, Ukrainian crude sunoil export prices have slightly lowered (down US$2 per MT against last week); domestic market has somewhat strengthened resulting in prices growth up to UAH6,900–7,100 per MT.
Within this week Ukrainian sun.pell export market prices were going up due to growing demand. Prices have risen to US$200–220 per MT (DAF Belarus)/US$195–200 per MT (DAF Poland).
As of this week, Ukrainian domestic market sun.pell prices were also going up due to high demand. Experts say prices are quite possible to reach their maximum soon and then get stabilized.
Ministry of Economics has initiated sunoil export quotas introduction (as present high export rates may negatively affect domestic market). Ministry explains quotas introduction is necessary in order to evade domestic market sunoil deficit/prices growth.
In 2009 Ukrainian oil crops processing plants capacities totaled 8.25 mn MT; however, companies plan to raise them up to 10 mn MT within 2010.
As of 2009, Ukrainian crude sunoil export totaled 2,184.800 MT; besides, in 2009 country companies produced 2,717.900 MT crude sunoil (up 49% against 2008).

As of this week, domestic rape seeds market prices remained stable; however, prices are likely to resume declining. Prices ranged within UAH2,800–2,950 per MT (EXW); 1 class food rape prices fluctuated within UAH3,100–3,150 per MT (CPT port), 2 class technical rape prices were UAH2,950–3,000 per MT (CPT port).
Within this week rape exporters demand was somewhat down against previous week, so sellers may decline prices in near future in order to stimulate demand.
Soybeans
As of this week, Ukrainian soybeans market prices were growing up; prices have reached UAH3,550–3,700 per MT, EXW.
Within this week soy.pell market prices were relatively stable; soybeans meal (protein 39%) prices ranged within UAH4,000–4,400 per MT.
