Ukrainian May 2009 sunseeds export has lowered to 45,960 MT, down 39% against Apr 2009. In May 2009, sunseeds were shipped out mainly to France, Spain and Georgia (these countries shared 86% total Ukrainian sunseeds import shipments).
Ukrainian Sept-May 2008/09 MY sunseeds shipments totaled 574,690 MT.
Sunoil, sun.pell
Within this week Ukrainian crude sunoil market prices have much changed as of previous week: prices have dropped by US$40 per MT due to global market demand/prices decline caused by new sunseeds crop expectance.
Sun.pell market prices have slightly sagged; this week sun.pell guiding prices fluctuated within US$165–175 per MT (DAF).
Ukrainian May 2009 crude sunoil export has reached 220,240 MT (this MY record high).
Ukrainian Sept-May 2008/09 MY crude sunoil shipments totaled 1,450.780 MT.
Ukrainian May 2009 refined sunoil export has declined to 8,620 MT (down against 10,730 MT in Apr 2009). Since this MY beginning, Ukraine has exported in total 102,730 MT refined sunoil.
Ukrainian May 2009 crude sunoil output has boosted to 242,480 MT, over 2 times up against May 2008. Since this MY beginning, Ukraine has produced 1,930.260 MT crude sunoil, up against last year similar 1,508.770 MT. One of reasons to motivate this MY output growth is 2008 sunseeds high crop.
Rape
Within this week rape prices have slightly declined against previous week, down to UAH2,660–2,750 per MT (EXW)/UAH2,800 per MT (CPT port).
Ukrainian May 2009 rape export has lowered to 15,410 MT, down 16% against Apr 2009. In May 2009, rape was shipped out mainly to Netherlands, Israel and Italy (these countries shared 78% total Ukrainian sunseeds import shipments). Since this MY beginning, Ukraine has exported 2,645.490 MT rape.
Ukrainian May 2009 rape oil export equaled to 650,000 MT, up against 270,000 MT in Apr 2009. Since this MY beginning, Ukraine has exported 37,480 MT rape oil. In May 2009, rape oil was shipped out mainly to Lithuania, Poland, Austria and Italy (these countries shared 76% total Ukrainian sunseeds import shipments).
